We believe that camp should be much more than just a place to spend the day while school is out. All of our activities are carefully planned to be fun and exciting, but to also help build new skills and confidence. Nothing is more rewarding than watching a child learn and conquer a new skill.
Sports
Your child will participate in a variety of sports appropriate to their age level. Sports include whiffle ball, ultimate frisbee, European handball, parachute games, beach volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Sports Majors will be further challenged with advanced skills in both individual and team sports.
Arts & Crafts
Our arts & crafts projects give your campers a chance to stretch their creative muscles but also to have something to take home as a souvenier of their camp experience. An element of choice is always included so that campers can tailor their work to their own interests. Projects vary by session and age level but may include: jewelry making, fimo, painting, clay, & paper mache. Arts Majors will work on more advanced, multi-step projects.
Mad Science & Nature
This is NOT the science you do in school! We love to get really messy and play with things that ooze, grow, fizz, and sometimes even explode!
Our nature program includes ever-popular bug hunting and harnessing the sun's rays to make solar-powered s'mores!
Creative & Aerobic Movement
We believe it is important to introduce children to many forms of physical activity, not just sports! Aerobics, dance, and basic yoga help develop a child's coordination, rhythm, cardiovascular endurance, and overall range of motion. The program varies to suit the age and skill level of our campers.
Water Fun
We offer a variety of great water games. Slide down the slip n' slide, splash in the kiddie pool, or chase your counselor with a wet sponge! We have a wide variety of ways to stay cool.
Wednesday Special
During this all-camp activity, your campers will participate in special activities that are not part of our regular schedule. Our Wednesday Specials include things like Counselor Hunt, Mock Sleepover, Talent Show, and Spa Day. Wednesday Specials are a wonderful opportunity for different age groups to interact and play together.
Cooperative Games
Camp should be more than just a place to have fun. We believe in helping your child to learn skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives, and cooperative games such as "The Tube" are an excellent way to foster teamwork, empathy, responsibility, and self esteem.
